I miss being able to say everything I feel before feelings got too heavy for other people to pick up. I can’t even hold them sometimes. usually I’m pretty grateful for my upper body strength though since I’ve kept my balance for months now. looking at me, you would never believe that I can do a lot of pull ups and run up fifteen flights of stairs but I do these things often. you probably wouldn’t suspect that I withstand the ebb and flow of this life either, yet my ocean is just as tideless in its depths as it appears at the surface. I have a petite frame that looks like it could be knocked over by a huge gust on a windy day and this long mane of dark hair that keeps me warm and guarded. I have this pale skin that burns easier than a match taken to an oil-drenched sheet of paper. but every day, I survive my emotions. I still don’t know how.
