i've had such a Frida Kahlo day today! I have decided to go as "her " to a costume party at work and asked around and found out that no one knew who she was!
so this is just in time for me.

- que cette peintre était un modèle pour ces ami(e)s photographes,
- et que c'est le cas pour cette photo de sculpture,
- que cette photo de photo est aussi une photo de reflet,
- que l'homme à la silhouette y est, à son insue, un objet-modèle,
- alors que lui se veut être uniquement sujet-spectateur,
- qu'il a vu la même image que toi et moi, à lui près,

C'est le seconde fois que tu me fais voir Frida Kalho. Tu ne peux imaginer à quel point je peux être "touchée" par ces images, particulièrement celle-ci. J'ai tout vu, tout lu sur son oeuvre et sa brève mais si percutante vie. Frida, c'est le feu, la couleur, la beauté, l'obstination d'être soi, de vivre jusqu'à la dernière goutte, d'aimer... coûte que coûte. Fidra, c'est mon héroïne à moi. Merci Jo de me dire que tu l'aimes aussi...
L'autre photo, celle de son portrait, dans un sous-sol de musée en Espagne, près d'un extincteur d'incendie, était d'un symbolisme à couper le souffle. Tout était là, toute sa vie dans une image. Je ne crois pas te l'avoir écrit...
