w-w-w-w-whiteout!

So apparently spending 20-odd quid on a pro membership isn't enough to make me post more often. I fail, I fail. There's nothing else for it!

I took a few photos last week when we had the ridiculous amounts of snow. Nothing spectacular. Apparently the snow is coming back later this week. I don't mind - I'll gladly welcome more snow days off work! - but the country goes into total shutdown as soon as those flakes start to fall...

snorkelling in the reef just off the caribbean coast of Mexico! AMAZING. Taken with my nifty underwater Panasonic. It faired really well; I was scared that as soon as it touched the water it was going to fail completely, but nope! I took quite a lot of underwater shots, but not many of them came out as well as this one- hard to see what you're pointing at under the surface.

Oh I miss Mexico. It was amazing!

I didn't take my SLR (luggage space failure...), so with just the compact I didn't get anything photographically amazing... not that I would have, anyway! =)

I've decided that getting back to using Flickr regularly is the way forward. I do miss it! And its another site to waste time upon instead of that ghastly facebook. So I've reinstated my pro account! I have 500-odd pictures here. Cripes. I totally forgot. I have no idea what the rest of them are, I thought I had maybe 250!

I don't get out and about with my camera as much as I used to, but I'm going to try to make an effort when I have time. Working all day sucks, its dark when I leave and its dark when I get home, so I get absolutely no chance in the week. But I'm going to try make an effort at the weekends. Because I miss my friend Clarence Click!

This photo is from Kelly & Paul's wedding that I shot last month. I've just delivered them their full set and they are over the moon with them! :-)

Flickr, forgive me. Its not that I don't love you anymore. Because I do, I truly do. Its just that... you've drifted away from me. You don't captivate me in the way you used to. You don't hold my attention and keep me wanting more. But I do miss you, Flickr. Maybe we should try to rekindle what was once a beautiful relationship.
