      Is this on the Parkway, Bisse? There is a zig zag fence not too far off the Galax/Mt Airy entrance and this reminds me of it!!!!

      It's on the parkway. :-) You can find a collection of different kinds of traditional fences at the "Groundhog Mountain" picnic area, about mile 190, before you get to Mabry Mill.
