Pourerere - January 2012 - The Kite
Coming back from our walk along Pourerere beach, I found this family determined to enjoy their day at the beach. The day was not your typical 'sunny day at the beach'. It was heavy with mist and seemed threatening at times. But it's been a miserable start to summer here in New Zealand, and we just need to get out and make the most of it. It turned out to be a beautiful, steamy hot day, and the lingering mist added to the magic.
