It's from Gi's blue period! Call it "The Young Guitarist" not The Old Guitarist.

When are we going to hear some of that Gi-utar playing???

You look a bit like an elf! (A cute elf, of course!)

    Thank you Parl! :D

Kev, I didn´t know that painting from Picasso! Thanks for the link, I loved the connection.

Todd, I´ll have to practice some more before recording something... my fingers are killing me -still- with very short playing sessions... the metal strings are terrible until you get the callus in the fingertips =(

But promise I´ll stun you with some wav files. =)

Pat, LOL! Yes, I do look like an elf! at first I was thinking about putting a title related. The hair "cutting" my ear and the face in angle does the effect I think... and my evident alien nature helps too, surely.

The muse behind the strings... very nice. does this mean that 'blues' is what's coming next from this guitar?

thanks a ton for the comments =)

yes, a new guitar and we are both very happy, we are getting on very vell with each other... you know how important is to comunicate well with an musical instrument... you have to learn to play again each time, as every instrument is different... you have to get to know the sound, how it sounds better, where to push, where to release... how to plunge and how to withdraw... tunning it -by ear- is most essential part of the process of getting to know it... you gotta learn to feel it vibrate close to you... see it vibrate! and make it an extension of yourself... yet treating it with the respect a whole different being to you deserves... the respect for its own wisdom... its potential ready to be unleashed as long as you find the right keys...

    Oh,I got poethic... heh... :)

hey! that sounded very similar to making love, now re-reading... well, it is actually very similar, isn´t it? :-P

Awesome reunions we are glad to see! ;;;;-)

...and even better: glad to attend too!!! :-P

i´ve been recording little... fingers hurting less, good thing. Remembering all time classics i used to play by ear... nice. =)

    thank you.

    what brand is it?
    nice pic!

thank you for the words and the question... I´ve seen your album, you have wonderful pics of your guitar and your violin... and much more, lovely work. =)

i am uploading some more pics of me and her...

    the thin ice

The guitar´s brand is a mystery... "Texas"... If you try to find something about it in the Internet and you will only find couple of people reviewing it, saying it is good for its price, but that it is a totally unknown brand... there´s no offical info on them.

I bought it really because it resembled my stolen Fender, yet the color was not same, obviously. didn´t know about the brand neither could find out (as I purchased it through a place like "eBay" here)... yet its price was 3 times less than the Fender (and my fender was just acoustic and this one is electro acoustic with a 4 band equalizer) and it was imported.

When I opened the package and started inspecting her I found out that the finishing is as good or better than the fender -serveral layers of coat- no imperfections at all, that the tuning keys are far better too... In conclusion, it was at least "as" good. Most important, of course: the sound is good. Brilliant and consistent. Didn´t try it plugged tho. This one is brought from China, the Fender made in Taiwan...

I even thought that perhaps this is the second brand of a good brand, that they sell the same product or almost as with the good official brand but at lower prices (this is very common in big companies, it´s a way to monopolize the market)... I wouldn´t be surprised that something like that happens... which could explain why there is no info down the internet of it.

    What do you think?

I think if it plays well and it sounds good, you have a great guitar.

    ;)
