Always a pleasure to walk on Les Grands Boulevards...such typical image of Paris.

There are 82 markets in Paris - sometimes everyday and sometimes on specific days of the week. The market on Place Iéna is held on Wednesday and Saturday mornings. We went to have a quick look and ended-up buying lunch and a few things to bring back as gift.

I am looking forward to discovering more of these markets once we get to Paris.

We are moving to Paris as Pierre has accepted a 3-year transfer with his company. We spent a week walking around the non-touristic areas to get a sense of where we would like to live.

This interesting view of the Eiffel is taken from the Saturday market on Place Iena in the 16e arrondissement.
