      Is it OK to use these photographs in a flash add for a non for profit Linux and Free Software conference?

      I would think that the creative commons licence that applies would allow it, but better safe to ask.

      In that case, how should I attribute the work. Is adding to the "promote" page in our webs site the text "Phothos for this add courtesy of..." enough?

      The add would use the pictures in the following way:
      a rapid fade in and out of the pictures while text rolls:
      "Some think penguins are a threatened species in Antartica, but in Canada they are reproducing an a healthy rate"

      Then fading to the conference logo and information.
