Martin 12-String [Explored]

I love my 12-string. Sure, you can't bend notes, or hammer-on or pull-off easily, but It absolutely FLOODS a room with rich, resonant sound when you play open chords at the nut. It's startling, the first time you hear one live.

Ben Stiller & Casey Affleck - The Tower Heist Shoot

These guys were shooting in my neighborhood today (Central Park West), so I took a few shots.

The film will be called "The Tower Heist" - about a group of investors defrauded by a Ponzi scheme (cf. Madoff) who take vengeance on the evil tycoon by robbing his luxurious Central Park apartment.

I spoke with a couple of the PAs on the set, and they said it "remains to be seen" whether it will be an action comedy, or just straight action. It will be out in 2011.
