Lumsdale Falls is a series of waterfalls situated just outside Matlock, Derbyshire. The falls run alongside the ruins of a number of old mills.
I have been meaning to visit these falls for a while now and finally managed to get an hour before the rain came this morning. It was certainly worth the effort and definitely a place I shall be revisiting.

These will probably be my last posts for a while due to work and university commitments, although I shall be keeping an eye on all your posts.

Despite the lure of the river flowing through the gorge, I wanted to capture the contrast between the fallen leaves, the lichen covered rocks and the greenery of the moss, hopefully I have achieved that with this image.
