I don't really like this photo (too plain). I'll probably replace it with something more interesting in a few months.

I'm selling some of the model chairs I picked up in Hong Kong, so I thought I'd take some photos to do the models justice. I don't think they'll sell.

The Tsukiji fish market doesn't need much of an introduction, but for those of you that have somehow managed to miss the Travel Channel specials, all you really need to know about it is that it's a huge fish market. The world's largest, in fact. And there are only three types of people that bother waking up at 4 AM to go to it: the fishmonger, the fish buyer, and the tourist.

Let me paint the picture a little more vividly. Imagine a giant warehouse--several football fields in size--packed end to end with stalls. Inside of it, you've got fishmongers busily preparing and selling their seafood, buyers visiting each stall trying to find the perfect fish, and swarms of tourists snapping pictures, standing in the way of push carts, and generally making it harder for the first two groups to get shit done. I hate being in that last group, it ruins my day. Really.
