Just For Fun

I've been making canes and walking sticks in my spare time. This walking stick started out as a small tree. I used the root ball as the top and I kept thinking it looked somewhat like a face, with a rather large nose. I inlayed the eyes and drew the mouth and hair with my wood burning tool.

If you try often enough, eventually you can get a photo of the front. Although the freight train was a lot more interesting.

Almost A Train Shot

Was walking along the tracks. No camera. Taking pictures with my phone. This train was going less than five miles per hour. Phone froze up. By the time the phone came back up the train was picking up speed.
