...but no 'Alouette', just gulls and Oyster Catchers but we were none the worse for that. Just another tranquil Silecroft sunset. I do miss our weekend 'larks' out on the west coast of Cumbria but the site where we had our van changed hands from a family concern to a very commercial enterprise who proceeded to cover every green spot that they could with a van. A commercial enterprise! It's difficult to argue with their economics in this day and age but it will never ever be the same again. This was one of our magical evening walks.

Absent due to the Christmas rush. Very busy and not much time off this year so a belated Happy Yuletide to all and a VERY Happy New Year to everyone wherever you may be in this shrinking world.

Doesn't quite have the same ring as Memphis and its certainly not Muddy Waters, but an inspiring place.
