One of the "temporary" box condos that are built under the Metra tracks over Lake Street in Chicago. These began as partially covered box shelters during the summer, and have developed into pretty serious mobile homes now in the cold.

A sight which most residents of urban areas become numb and accustomed too still causes me some heartache every time I walk by (which is just about every day).

Pumpkin In The Mist

Xavier chooses a pumpkin for his 2nd Halloween. It was unbelievably misty, thus the cloudy picture quality, but love his face and hair, so posted it regardless.
