I Heart Nature

I Heart Nature

How a photographer celebrates Valentine's Day! <3

Scott and I were scouting an area in Valley of Fire, and he takes a shot of this spot & says... "it looks like a heart". Oh snap... it does. I wanna get a shot too... cause Valentines's Day is right around the corner ;-)

Stand Out

Stand Out

Zabriskie Point at Death Valley NP.

Death Valley is vast and diverse. You'll find everything from expansive landscapes to intimate detail shots.

This was from the last morning before heading home, Day 12 of up before 5am, but well worth it. =)

Thanks for stopping by for a look!
Ellie

Solitude Sunset

Solitude Sunset

Badwater basin in Death Valley NP

The salt pan in the lows of Death Valley, is 200 feet below sea level.
These formations are called Polygons and they are formed as a result of the rapid heating and cooling, that takes place on the playa.
These Polygon shapes make for an interesting foreground element.

Thanks for stopping by to have a look,
Ellie :)
