This picture was shot on a tripod with three exposures @ F3.5 ISO 100 (-2..0..+2EV) Another 3-exposure shots was captured @ F7.1 at 1/125 sec., F/10.0@1/250 sec., and F14 at 1/500 sec. exposure time, ISO 100 for the reflection and DoF. I used Photomatix to create the HDR with tonemapping and detail enhanced. I increased the overall saturation with Hue/Saturation in Photoshop. Curve adjustment to increase the overall contrast. Unsharp Mask to increase detail on the rocks.
This shot of Sparks Lake was taken from the Ray Atkeson Memorial Trail during my road trip to central Oregon. In the distance, you can see South Sister on the left and Broken Top Mountain on the right. Sparks Lake is a lake in Deschutes County, Oregon. It is nearly 400 acres and one of the most photographed lakes in the Cascade Lakes region.
And have a Happy 09/09/09 Wednesday Everyone!!!
