Love is in the air

Taken in Horgabost, Isle of Harris. I got readdy for nice sunset but unfortunatelly it turned overcast and some clouds came in. This formation only lasted for just one shot, so Im very pleased with it even though for it to be perfect the cloud could have been red :@). The winds were pretty strong and were moving clouds quickly.

    Canon 40D, 17-40mmL @17mm, Iso 200, F14, 0.5sec, Hitech 0.3 NDGrad hard.

I like it, I really like how you stayed when the weather turned, and captured a cracking shot like this. It's a great PoV and I'm impressed with how much you've framed, the swaying grass adds to the composition too. Good stuff.

The bold colours of the grass, sand, and sea produce a very striking effect, topped off nicely by the distant hills and very nice cloud effects.

I was there in April and this is a nice reminder of a marvellous location.

you've really caught the piece and tranquility of this magical place- the colours of sea and sand are tropic, which is amazing considering how far north you are

Great shot. I Like the grass in the foreground, powdery sand and mottled blue ocean,.this made me feel home sick for the sea.

Right place. Right time. Real cracker. Even without the heart it would be a fine image, but just a little more special with it.
