The arch at Natural Bridges. I took this last September, and quite honestly don't remember much about this one.

Nothing says, "Santa Cruz" as effectively as the Boardwalk, one of the oldest amusement parks in the US, and home of the Giant Dipper, a legendary roller coaster made of wood. I've been visiting this place since I was too short to ride the coaster. In the summer, this place is packed with tourists, but now, in the off-season, it's pretty deserted. I was lucky to get a very nice sunset going on in the background for this shot. And lucky to get this shot off at all, as this was the last frame before security shut me down for using a tripod.

Panther beach gets some sweet light.

Never trust the weather report. The weather report read clear, I left my camera at home, so naturally some great clouds developed late in the day. I ran home to pick it up, wondering where to shoot. The clouds were just everywhere, so I thought Panther would be the best location to take advantage. I had a shot from this spot about 15 minutes earlier that I preferred because the clouds were thicker and more interesting, but the left side of those images were soft for some reason. Maybe a smear on the lens. This was second best, but had a little more color.
