I had to pick up my parents at Brisbane airport last Sunday, where they arrived from Denmark for a visit here "Down Under"- so decided to go past Wellington Point on the way and catch the sunrise. Asked Chris and Conor if they wanted to come.
The tide was wrong, but never mind. We arrived at 4.15am, Queensland time, which was 5.15am for me (hehe) and it looked like it was going to be a really good sunrise - there were some nice clouds around and we expected to get some great colours.
That didn't really eventuate though, the clouds were nice - but the colours stayed away, although we did get some sunrays at the end.
