hi crazyquilter - I tried constructing my tree the same way big wire trees are built, but with pipe cleaners. there's actually a silver beading wire spiraling down the center trunk which secures all the branches in place individually. all the ornaments are beads, the birds are the white doves they sell for decorating "missions," and the little cookies are from a japanese miniature company, re-ment.

Neat! I loove it! I thought that my girls should have a tree, but didn't really know how to make one.. pipe cleaner is the way to go, indeed. But I do not think I will make one this year, or I will pretend that doll christmas will be in January. ;)
