• Recommended crop - yeko54
  • I'm not sure about the crop...does it lose some DoF by doing this? What do you guys think?
  • I disagree and think that the crop recommended here would loose the "straight out of nature" theme in the photograph. The habitat here is as important as the subject and the original crop really works for me. Great work Matt. - 2k Photography
  • I agree that the space around the subject adds to the environmental context of the image. Plus the narrow DoF really lets you focus on the crocs eyes. It's great how it is. - adebⓞnd
  • "Recomended Crop" what an ass hole, i hate it when people do that! - Zo Perko
  • Ignore the crop suggestion. As-is is perfect. - Millron

I'm blown away by the sensitive nature of your work - many of the photos draw my in by the mystery that surrounds the subject. Very well done!

What would make this better would be if you could have gotten a little closer... Maybe in the water with her in fact. Now that would really be spectacular. :)

And please ignore Yeko's recommended crop. that would be a mistake. The water adds so much and the vignetting blur really makes the shot. It draws you in. Crop it in and you would really hurt this shot.

Great shot and yeah, I think I'd have learned a lesson on the first time it hit me/my-gear, and I'd have made sure it didn't happen again.... just sayin'.
