Sunny, but cold...

Today was a beautiful sunny day, but temperatures were only in the mid 20s; however, mid to upper 40s for tomorrow and all next week...good-bye, snow!

The setting sun makes the ice/snow particles on the tree branches look like Christmas lights.

It's Not Spring Yet...

Mother Nature said don't think Winter's is over yet when she dumped 5+ inches of snow in the Northwest Suburbs of Chicago two days ago. Fortunately, temperatures will be in the 40s next week, so hopefully most of this snow will be done next weekend. This photo was taken in a forest preserve just down the street from my house.
