The lastl twilight fades at high altitude from the summit of Mauna Kea 13,700 ft (approx)
because I used a handheld pocket camera this is its' "interpretation" of the crescent moon and Venus..I was too altitudes "sick" to set up tripod and relax..

Beautiful photo, the lack of anything in the atmosphere, including O2, make for great shooting, I was up there acouple of years ago, there was quite a bit of snow then. I visited your island this year but did not go up to the top, I did take the saddle road over to Hilo, I still have more bird photo's to post, will continue to visit your site, for more beautiful Hawaii photos, got a new camera, thats great.
