in other words in their final stage they turn into litte puffballs which I never have foto'd yet ..maybe today if I can catch a few moments..foto time..

 

 

The conditions outlined below have been going on for months but now have

reached epidemic proportions. At first a few of us thought "this is quirky" " I can't see your fotos when you post them" "you are never on my front page"Maybe we didn't care enough about each other to get more aware or felt we would appear to be obsessed with flickr, to care so much about views or explore interestingness appearance . But it is much more about social networking and now it is critical mass..or we can "duck and cover and wait till it all blows over..or we can participate in the discussion so that Flickr staff can know that we are waking up.

Please stay informed and alert your friends. You might not think it's happening to you, but it is! If I don't see you, you will understand why.

I am sure some of you are aware of the problems with flickr these days. My contact list is still in a frozen state, which means I might not see you, or if I do, it may be hours or even a day later. And I have realized that I am missing flickrmail as well! Evidently this problem started six months ago?!?!?!?! Also, my flickrmail is not working properly either! Are you missing emails too?? For me, it's like flickr has turned off the lights on us!

 

I am hoping the situation is resolved soon. In the meantime, keep the faith and

hope we resume normal broadcasting soon. Keep sharing your eye candy - makes

the world a much better place

 

For those who still don’t know why their view count is down, perhaps way down,

the reason is explained and discussed here. One day Flickr staff may figure out

the solution, but I’m not holding my breath. All I know is that my view count

is way down (perhaps by 60 or 70 percent), and the hits I get are often for

much older photos in my stream
