Japanese plum blossoms

Japanese plum blossoms have started to bloom in front of the gate of Japan’s oldest university called Ashikaga Gakkou that it was established in 9th century. Saint Francis Xavier, who was a pioneer of missionary of the Roman Catholic, introduced widely the university to the world as the largest and most famous university in the eastern part of Japan. The Ashikaga Gakkou is now trying to be recognized as the World Heritage.
