Red-winged Blackbird

    My main goal to go out to the refuge yesterday was to get a better shot of these fabulous birds, their song is amazing. They are very flighty and not very cooperative, but I think these two came out pretty good :) I overexposed by one stop to bring out just a bit more detail in the feathers and think it paid off :)

      SUPERB close ups of this beautiful male red winged black bird. I love them, but agree they can be too flighty. Awesome exposure and tack sharpness. I love how you captured him in mid-song,...excellent timing.
      I just got home from hiking...am grabbing my camera and heading to the refuge right now.
