Table Mountain, Cape Town, South Africa 24 October 2009: A group of
climbers
led by sustainability consultant Robert Zipplies mounts a banner
protest on
a high cliff above the city as part of 350.org's Global Day of Climate
Action. The banners make reference to the sea level rise expected due
to
climate change. Over 4 000 groups of people in 176 countries are today
mounting actions to call on world leaders to enact a strong, fair and
ambitious climate treaty to reduce the atmosphere's carbon
concentration to
