So, I saw a cracking shot of a crocus yesterday and thought I would have to have a go at doing the same shot myself. This is attempt number one. It was quite shady outside so the crocus came out very blue and I didn't like the grassy background. Also it was moving in the wind, which was very annoying, so I decided to capture it and take it back to my desk and have a go in a controlled environment.

Look at that pollen! I am very impressed with how it looks against the blue petals of the crocus. It came out pretty much how I hoped it would.

If you don't have a nice background for your crocus photography, then simply improvise with the tools that you have to hand!
