Day 188 of Project 365: Earthy

Day 188 of Project 365: Earthy

This morning, Hawk and I went to Artisan Roast for a coffee and then to Earthy for lunch and dinner ingredients. We enjoyed a delicious butternut squash soup, and also ordered sides before realising how much food that was. (We took home what we could not finish.)

I made roasted broccoli and meatloaf for dinner, but forgot to set aside some of the meatloaf mixture sans potato flakes so that I could make myself a nightshade-free portion. My meal was delicious anyway; I had broccoli and leftover curry, and then Hawk and I walked to S. Luca for ice cream.

Day 187 of Project 365: D3

The guys are playing some cooperative Diablo 3 before bed. Since I was up at 4am, I'm about to go play the inside of my eyelids.

Day 186 of Project 365: Meta-Photo

Day 186 of Project 365: Meta-Photo

After our strenuous tour of Edinburgh the day before, we had a lower-key day in St Andrews. Fortified with a full Scottish breakfast from City Cafe, we slowly strolled and chatted through the town. There was even some geocaching, pictured and then meta-pictured in today's snap. Even so, we still managed to walk 6.72 miles and climbed 34 floors. Hosting guests has given us some much-needed exercise!

Day 185 of Project 365: Radiance

Day 185 of Project 365: Radiance

On Saturday, the four of us wandered around Edinburgh. We stopped in at St Giles, where this photo was taken. We also climbed Arthur's Seat, a personal first.

In total, we walked 9.34 miles and climbed 112 floors, and celebrated with all the calories at Bar Italia.

Wandering the streets of Edinburgh just before 6am might have made me into a morning person.
