Love Budapest #3

Love Budapest #3

When Ondi came in town I took a day off and played the turists. We got downtown a little bit, just in time for getting the perfect light for this shot (which, by the way, expresses the whole difference between Budapest and Bucharest).

It was somehow strange to be able to shoot handheld when all the pro's around me had huge tripods and flashes(!!!) and kilos of equipment. I'm so happy for my 50/1.4 lens and the ISO 800 film.

When Ondi came in town I took a day off and played the turists. I wanted to take a photo of the "Little King"(?) for quite a while, now I was lucky to get around at the perfect time.

Almost no editing, 99% the file I got from the scanning lab, just a minor crop to remove some branches intruding from the top.

Mr Fellegi

Mr Fellegi

THE concert piano player in Budapest, Mr Fellegi himself: 70(+) y.o., he's still performing at his home-come-concert-room, and he does it in an impressive way.

This is actually an "action shot" - he was really playing, but the Superia ISO 1600 did the job to freeze the movement.
