I just wrapped a travel feature on Brunei for Vacations + Travel Magazine.
What is there to see and do in Brunei, you ask?

Well, there is the mosque, of course!
And don't forget the Royal Regalia, where the Sultan and his family put on display all the things they don't have room for in their 1,700 room palace.
And then there is Kampong Ayer, Asia's largest and most impressive water village.

I like it when I'm commissioned to write articles on places I visited a while back - it gives me an excuse to look through my archives and repurposed photos I had forgotten about or overlooked. I was able to pull together 30 new photos for this feature that I would otherwise have never done anything with. Go Brunei!

Best place to get Chinese food outside of China? It may just be Toronto. That goes for Korean, Ethiopian, Indian or Thai, too; Toronto is, for my money, the best food city in the world. That may have something to do with the fact that more than 50-percent of Toronto residents were born outside of Canada, and they brought their culinary traditions with them when they set up shop in T.O.

If you plan on starting a food tour of Toronto I suggest starting in Chinatown. I suggest doing the duck. You won’t regret it.
