Located towards the south of Hokkaido Island, Hakodate would remind one of a nice little laid back city fit for those wishing to take a break from the hectic city life.
With Hakodate's main trade plied in the seas and to mention specifically, squids, one would get a nice treat of fresh seafood here.
Too bad the 'live' squid was sold out by the time we reached the restaurant. If not i would have gotten to experience the wriggly thing in my mouth.

1339 KM was the total count as Tohoku was conquered. Yes this was my maiden overseas driving experience. Boy was it cool and extremely challenging. Loved the night drives especially.

On the Tohoku Region
Aomori all the way to Sendai was the route. 'Rural' it was for most of the way. But definitely an extremely relaxing few days spent there given the nightly onsens we went to. Food was good too! :)
Nice it was. But probably not a region i'd like to live in in the future. Maybe only in the city of sendai for the Tohuku region.

The perfect tool for anyone plotting revenge.
But the product it produces is too small for my liking though.
I prefer to use my hands. :P

Persistence is key.
Your path might be more curved and bumpier than others'. But in the end, with persistence, you will still reach your destination. :)
