James Stageberg House (1981)

Architect Stageberg's own house. He taught at the University of Minnesota’s School of Architecture and mentored many of today’s leading architects. He renovated the U’s Walter Library and designed its Aquatic Center. His other works include Southdale Library, the parking ramps west of Target Center, and dozens of memorable homes across the state. AIA Minnesota awarded him its highest honor, the Gold Medal, in 1991.
