Peter Pan
written by James Barry,
directed by Gillian and Dave Wilkins.

Synopsis
Chameleon Theatre Company’s production of Peter Pan remains true to J M Barrie’s original story, whilst incorporating all the elements of pantomime that everyone loves! Join Wendy and her brothers, John and Michael as they are “flown” from their nursery in London to the magical world of Neverland with Peter Pan and Tinkerbell (definitely a fairy with attitude!). Here they meet the “beautiful” Tiger Lily – the leader of the Indigenous Neverlandian Nation and her Redskins, the Lost Boys, pirates, mermaids and of course the evil Captain Hook (boo hiss) and his dopey pirate sidekicks Smee and Starkey. Hook wants to get his revenge on Peter Pan for feeding his hand to the crocodile (“it’s behind you!”). Will the boy who never grows up succumb to his evil plans? Will Tinkerbell’s jealousy of “the Wendy” help Hook to succeed? Come and watch to find out!

Programme
Welcome to Chameleon Theatre Company's production of Peter Pan. Our story remains true to J M Barrie's original, whilst incorporating all the elements of pantomime that everyone loves (oh yes you do!).

Here they meet the "beautiful" Tiger Lily - the leader of the Indigenous Neverlandian Nation and her Redskins, the Lost Boys, pirates, mermaids and of course the evil Captain Hook (boo hiss) and his dopey pirate sidekicks Smee and Starkey. Hook wants to get his revenge on Peter Pan for feeding his hand to the crocodile ("It's behind you!"). Will the boy who never grows up succumb to his evil plans? Will Tinkerbell's jealousy of "the Wendy" help Hook to succeed? We have been planning this panto for two years and would like to thank the members of the company for all their support, hard work and enthusiasm. We hope you enjoy the show as much as we have enjoyed producing it. Gillian and Dave Wilkins.
