The Angel of the North

During a weekend trip in this area I happended to be driving past this stunning landmark so decided to stop and try to get a few shots. Unfortunately it was a rather dull and grey day which did nothing to showcase this sculptures beauty.

Forth Rail Bridge

Decided to try and get some shots of the bridge with all the scaffolding and covers removed.
Thought I'd picked a great day as the sun was shining. Unfortunately there was a total lack of cloud to give the sky any detail, so I decided to concentrate on the foreground to add something to the shot.

BBC Scotland Studios - Glasgow

This is another building that I've tried to shoot before. This time I only had 5 minutes to try and get it as my wife and young son were standing just to my right, complaining of the cold and worrying that I might fall in the river!
