Turn to clear vision

Turn to clear vision

Straight out of the camera, lower resolution shot. I really like how this turned out, with the bokeh in the background, which by the way, is the Pepsi Cola sign. Taken in Long Island City, NY. I'll be replacing this with a higher resolution once I have time to fully go through the photos of the night.

A shot of a family friend taken with a softbox and SB-600. Not much processing other than a crop and B&W conversion.

Sudden Snow

Sudden Snow

Taken at a friend's garage, as we experimented with using flashes, gels, and flour, not to mention masks and wigs.

Everyday I'm Shufflin

Everyday I'm Shufflin

Macro shot of an iPod Shuffle that my wife won at a charity raffle. This thing is so small, it's hard to believe it can hold and play music.

I lit this shot with a speedlight positioned at 20 degrees camera left shot through an umbrella, and another bare speed light hand held at about 90 degrees camera left. The flashes were triggered by Cactus V5 triggers. The umbrella light lit up the front of the shuffle, with the secondary light providing the coverage of the left side and top edge.

This is straight of the camera.

Kings Park (KPPC) - Emptiness

Kings Park (KPPC) - Emptiness

The vastness and emptiness of this room really got me. It appeared to be some kind of cafateria room, as it was just off an area where an industrial dishwasher was located.
