careful, you might create a new cult here ;) I mean such utter stylishness will make some ripples ....

Is it wrong that I want your shoes? Well, not the ones you're wearing... maybe.

A new classic - Scott Fitzgerald in black ... :) The clothing style looks very 1930ish, except for the color.

I hate golf. Something to do with learning to play it on a sheep farm in midsummer, where I swallowed 7 flies during a single hole.

But you, you style maven, you make it look like a desirable diversion.

you've lost a glove. how annoying.

    That is awsome.

I'm in Scotland and I wouldn't but then I don't look as good in black as some. Nice one.

  11. warhead (72 months ago | reply)

Congrats - you hit 'interestingness' with this one.

But shouldn't you really be wearing a back shirt?

  12. striatic (72 months ago | reply)

But shouldn't you really be wearing a back shirt?

    what is a "back shirt"?

    I'm in Scotland and I wouldn't

aw .. and as a mad Scot you have every excuse! ; )

I would do it if I were in Scotland.

but you're not a mad Scot!

I'm assuming the bag is wifi enabled with USB port?

sadly no. i even left my iPod at home.

this is very unstriatical.. > < lol

    what is "striatical"?

you've lost a glove. how annoying.

i prefer to think of it as half gloved, rather than half ungloved.

But you, you style maven, you make it look like a desirable diversion.

golf becomes a lot of fun once you start hitting the ball consistently and don't lose too many balls. after that it is a lot of fun even if your score is very high.

you also sort of have to leave your conscience at the door, because golf courses tend to wreak havok on the environment.

The clothing style looks very 1930ish, except for the color.

well, that's what the black and white version is for.

Is it wrong that I want your shoes?

    no.

what's your size? you can find them here and order them here. they are a canadian company and i love canadian stuff! mmhm!

careful, you might create a new cult here ;)

    i haven't already? nuts.

And here I thought it was just the rambling of a madman.

    it wasn't? nuts.

A black shirt is a shirt that is black and has a black collar, thus giving you a completely black ensemble.

After the game we went and rented the movie "The Greatest Game Ever played". A great movie for fans of the game and its history. I would say that Bry was dressed more for a 1913 game than for 2006. At least in his garb the mosquitos couldn't get him! Thanks for the game Bry...it was lots of fun.

Me, I only golf at night.

here we twilight golf, which goes from around 8pm until sundown, which at this latitude is some ongodly hour at this time of year.

  23. warhead (72 months ago | reply)

    Do you have fluorescent balls?

    Striatic:of course .. but what's a 'back shirt'?

It's a dog damn spelling mistake, that's what it is! And I didn't even spot it when you pointed it out the first time.

I've been under a lot of stress, you know.

    Love your golfing outfit :-))

  25. Telstar Logistics (72 months ago | reply)

We play on a local municipal course, after sunset, using special balls that accept glowsticks. HIGHLY recommended, so long as you're on a Par 3 course.

HIGHLY recommended, so long as you're on a Par 3 course.

i really, really, REALLY would like to try that.

  27. Telstar Logistics (72 months ago | reply)

Next time you're here, gladly. Or, buy your own balls and sticks, and try it at home. I'm not exaggerating at all when I say that night golf is one of the most consistently fun things I've ever done.

Equipment List for a night of Night Golf, as distillled from many years of experience:

-- Full moon (preferable, but not necessary)
    -- Sticks and balls
-- Clubs (we usually bring ONLY a 6 iron and putter, each.)
-- Wool socks and boots (sprinklers are active at night, so your feet get wet)
-- Big glow stick (to mark the hole, if you're new to the course)
-- Mini-Maglite (for bushwhacking, if necessary, to find your ball)
-- Beer in cans (don't tip over as easily, easier to carry to a garbage can)

That's it! All the silliness of mini-golf, with all the ball-whacking satisfaction of the day game. Fore!

If I had the money, I'd get that kit in reverse and be all about some Jack Norman, Greg Nicklaus action. Give me a reason to get tanked, drive a cart, and snap shots of the chase.
