Wet Fields - Gloucestershire 2007
A mixed media - Watercolour and Pastel. I made this painting from sketches I did when I had to travel through Gloucestershire, UK.
This was just after the disastrous floods of 2007. The atmosphere was so damp, I could feel it seeping in to my clothes. I was thankful I lived away from a river, and 650 ft above sea level. My thoughts are with anyone who is at risk from these floods. Rivers are beautiful necessities, but they can exact a price.
