My puppies are gone...and I miss them so much! Sprout was adopted and Leaf and Blossom have moved on to their next foster home (where they will stay until they find their forever home!) I was trying to get some good shots of them on the lawn on their last day, and most of them did not turn out (blurry, harsh light) This shot was totally accidental and I kind of love it! I'm not sure if it is too abstract to submit to the annual SCARS calendar...

This is Blossom, she's the smallest of the three by 10 ounces. She has the coolest fur ever...but we didn't even realize it until after her bath!

Even if it's just Liz playing.... what breeds do you think these little guys are?! I'm curious to hear what others think, even though they are only six weeks and it's so hard to tell.

This is leaf! He's black from head to toe, much fluffier than his sisters and his tail has some curl to it already. Photo's a little blurry but I couldn't resist this puppy pose.

I just love these little guys.

Any guesses on breeds now? Just wait until you see Blossom!

Remember three months ago when I was worried I wouldn't have enough time for school and photography? Well school won. But I'm just about done now and so ready to pick my camera back up!

Now...this is Sprout, one of 3, six week old foster puppies that I'm looking after! I'm taking advantage of my break between school and work to foster these guys for two weeks until they go to their new foster home. We've had them for three days and I am so in love already. My heart aches when I even think about them leaving. Photos to come of her sister Blossom and brother Leaf. They are JUST as cute (it's hard to believe I know).

I've always loved the light in this room in my house. The yellow walls probably help but it just seems so sunny and bright all the time. Perfect because it used to be my Grandma's room! This may have been partly a lighting test shot, but it was also sort of inspired by the song "Tomorrow Will Be Kinder" By the Secret Sisters. They are an amazing duo and this song will be on the Hunger Games soundtrack! The song is about that little piece of hope that better/easier times are coming, but it is haunting and sets itself apart from more upbeat songs with the same theme.

Yup I'm getting behind on my 52 weeks of life already, but rules are made to be broken and if I get another shot in my Sunday I'll forget all about it!
