Lisa C.

Lisa C.

This night I thought I was doing a photoshoot with another girl and Lisa offered to fill in and was willing to take pictures with me after she had just met me. Thank you so much Lisa! For a night that was completely improvised, the photoshoot went really well.
Here I used my Nikon D7000 with my Nikon 35mm f/1.8 lens and also off camera and hand held my Nikon SB-700 external flash.

Bellissima

Bellissima

What a great day this was! What a complete professional this model is! She endured the cold, the lake water, the wind, the early morning shoot all in the name of allowing me to learn some new techniques in photography.
Thank you Belle!
This shot was taken at Woodbine beach, east of downtown Toronto, Ontario, Canada.
Photoshop was used for my watermark signature.

Heavenly China Sword

Heavenly China Sword

To clarify China is the nickname of the model used here and has nothing to do with the country. I found an old shot of china and thought that the photograph that it was in was very boring and so I decided to take the best part out and re-dress it with some imagination. I then found this really cool picture/painting of Nariko, female soilder from the video game "Heavenly Sword". I wanted to show this picture in colour since the colours did match up quiet nicely however when I saw it in Black and White I realized that the contrast was even better.

Supermanita

Supermanita

This was done just for fun. It was actually a long process to get to this final picture. First was the face of Aire which was taken by Photographer Carlos D. Ramirez in Raw and I processed the Raw image in Lightroom 3, Second, I took the face into photoshop and removed one blemish (so that was quick) Third, I choose the picture of Supergirl and worked on blending the face to the body using photoshop and the plug-in program filter Viveza. Fourth, I found this backround cityscape and blended Supermanita onto the backround. Fifth, I added atmosphere and worked the colours and shades and lighting. Sixth, I looked at the overall picture and tweaked minor details like the sunflare and how much shine on her hair... and thus the final shot you see here! The whole process from begining to end took 3 hours and was 20 progressive steps/ renditions.
Gracias Aire por el uso de tu cara :)

Captain M

Captain M

This was my first official photoshoot with my new Nikon D7000 as the primary photographer! This time I set the camera on the correct settings unlike the "Quinceañera" photoshoot... This shoot was an amazing learning experience for me since I did the shoot and then I processed the pictures in Lightroom 3 from the RAW image file which I had never done before since I always used to shoot JPEG, then I added my digital signatured watermark in photoshop and converted the shot to black and white using Silver Effects Pro, a plug in program with photoshop, and you have the final result here!

Special thanks to this newly promoted Captain , what a great model she is , very patient , even though this shot was done at sunset and we had very little time before the sun went down we were able to get some really amazing shots! Thanks again M.
