Swim and Fun Barbie 2
I completely repainted her face by hand. It was supposed to have a similar look to the original Barbie doll, but I made her eyes light blue instead of white ( o.o ) with black outlines and thick eyeliner (which isn't so great for swimming... ^-^ ). I also put blue eyeliner over her eyes, with two layers or brown over it and glitter above that. (BTW, you can click the "all sizes" buttons over the pictures to see larger versions of them that show the details better.)
She's glancing to the side, but just a little bit - I didn't want her to look too "subserviant", or "shifty. ^-^ They're pointing to the right, which is the opposite of a vintage Barbie doll. I thought if you put her next to one, they would seem to be looking at each other. :)
(I used a Beach Party Barbie doll for this. Here's a picture of what she originally looked like.)
PLEASE NOTE: This is a one-of-a-kind doll made by me. I have absolutely nothing to do with Mattel, and neither does this doll (other than the fact that the base parts were manufactured by them). It does not in any way reflect the views or opinions of Mattel, and is not intended to damage the reputation of the Barbie trademark. It was made for fun as a hobby.

You made a work of art, Charles!! what a fantastic line you have, so clear! I love it.
A little question: what kind of colour did you use for the lips? It's shiny and nice like the original... but I'd better say "more than the original"!!! ^______^

Thank you again Macy!! I used "pearl" acrylic paint. You can mix it into the lip paint, or mix it with a lot of water and paint it over the top at the end (that's how I did it). It makes it look "shimmery" the same as the lips on a lot of Barbie dolls. (It's also good for eye makeup.) You can also use gold or silver paint, or other metallic colors.

I love it, you even painted the color of the eyes similar to the fist Barbie 59!
