I found these little mushrooms below an old acorn tree in my dad's garden in South Africa. I have once heard that mushrooms love to grow after a mighty highveld thunder storm... as it were this day, there had been a thunderstorm the day before...

Johannesburg is the largest man made forest in the world with more than 10million trees.
THis photo was taken as I was driving to a friends house. I simply had to pull over and quickly snap a picture... afterall... how else could i possible explain to people how beautiful this is....
