Finding Josephine's photostream

So, this is out of focus, which is the point.
This is from December when I got this camera, my first DSLR. I worked so hard at getting manual focus down pat.

My Friend, who also has a DSLR is into photography, a lot, she works with a photographer and I think she finds people who want family portraits for not very much money and they hire her.

Which is more than what I can say, Photography is a passion but a hobby, I want to go to university and study History, so I worry very little about photography because I know that I try my best, and that I am just doing it for fun.

My Friend wants feedback, she asked a photographer that she knows to look at her pictures, and I don't think what he said was necessarily what she had wanted to hear. It set her back, she felt upset that her pictures were always out of focus, which isn't true, and I told her that even really photographers have taken out of focus pictures.

So this picture, is to show that even if the only pictures I show to people are in focus that it doesn't mean that I am focus perfect.

so, this is from May but I haven't been a very active user...
No one in my family really likes this picture, but I was kind of impressed by it... but we have different styles sometimes :)

Fireworks tonight!
I don't live in Ottawa so I don't get to meet the Queen, but she was in Halifax and that is in Nova Scotia, where I live, but I still didn't meet her. I am not important enough. :P

So, I lack at this I know.
I passed Grade 11 with an 85%! which means I should get in to University... I hope..
I am a graduate next year and I am Freaking out!
I Work everyday this summer so I hopefully should have some money to put away for University for next year!! :D

This wasn't taken three years ago, I just never think to change the date on my camera!

This is from my first day in the dominican, I was so proud of getting this picture :)
I was amazed at how beautiful this country was when I got there.
