Gallagher uilleann pipes

A set of Irish uilleann pipes (pronounced ill-in), bagpipes intended for playing dance music, developed in the late 1700's.
These were made by Seth Gallagher of New York state, in the key of D.
This photo shows the drones and the keyed "regulators."
