Love Breaks Through

    A little better view!

We enjoy some gorgeous stormy skies at the beach. Bob and I chanced the pending downpours and walked the beach one evening. As usual, I had my nose pinned to the sand looking for treasures. Bob saw this! I only had my point and shoot with me but you get an idea of what it looked like.

I've been caught up in some rough life storms lately...as you may have noticed from my recent posts. Photography is one way for me to process my situation. I often find little messages of truth and encouragement in the images I take.

I am a strong person in some ways and notorious for trying to figure things out myself. If I could sing, my life song could be I Did it My Way, only I'd change it up a bit...I TRIED TO DO IT MY WAY.

So, if you can handle a little self disclosure, this is where I'm at!!!

Happy Monday, from my heart to yours. I'll "see" you this evening!

Sherrie, this is so beautiful and your thoughts are so refreshing too. Whenever I come to your stream, no matter how long it has been, it seems like there was no time lost. You are the same, sweet, kind, loving, thoughtful person that you always were. And I am so happy for you that you are enjoying your time with Bob. You two are one lucky couple to have each other!

What a beautiful find Sherrie. I'm so sorry you have been having some personal storms lately. I so understand what you are saying about trying to do it "my" way. I wish I could learn my lessons faster:) I pray you will see sunny skies in your life soon, my friend.

Beautifully seen - and said - hang in there.... I find that photography has been a saving grace for me in recent times - when I am out taking pictures or even when I come to the computer to edit - it seems to let me access that "other part of my brain" which allows some relief from stress and pain (mental and physical)....

Certainly on of your best. LOVE the colors, and the simplicity of this. And no frame around it, so more to look at. Nice work!

Hi Sherrie, I don't know how I missed this the other day! What a glorious shot! And you're so right! His truth is "Love breaks through!"

But I will sing of your strength; I will sing aloud of your steadfast love in the morning. For you have been to me a fortress and a refuge in the day of my distress. Psalm 59:16
