Here Ducky Ducky - The Red eDition

For Kim Klassen's Texture Tuesday

I was hoping for some fall color to contribute to this week's challenge but we don't have much to work with. So I had to run to the archives and grab this shot of my grandson admiring the ducks. I didn't like all the green grass so I really messed with it in Photoshop. I've been coloring outside my box lately...experimenting with different looks.

I used three of Kim's textures: Grubby Text, Cook Grunge and Grey Day Slate
I also used Pioneer Woman's Old West action and Coffee Shop's Selective Black & White action.
There were lots of adjustment layers, layer masks and texture brushes added.

Standing

Standing

Sometimes the essential observation is not where you are standing, but that you are standing at all.

Gratitude

Gratitude

“Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough, and more. It turns denial into acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger into a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow.” ~ Melody Beattie
