[1/52] A cup to start the year

This morning, I woke up and couldn't believe that the Christmas holidays were already over. How is it that a week off could pass by so quickly? Worse yet, I felt more tired than I did when I left work on the Friday that started the holidays! Still... when I left the house for work this morning, I saw the most amazing color in the sky. Dark grey/blue clouds enveloped the entire sky, but what made it stand out was this outline of deep red. It was so vibrant and ominous yet... uplifting in a way? I guess it goes to show that if you have an open mind, you'll always find something to be appreciative of.

Well, since it is the start of the year, it is probably a good excuse to get a head start on some photo taking! I am not as brave as some of you who are starting a 366 though :) Good on you and keep it up. A picture a week is enough for me. Working late hours and taking photos really made the 365 difficult when I did it less than a year ago so nothing like that this year. Ah the life of an accountant, getting in the way of photography :/

    it's a bummer that Christmas and the rest of the holidays can be over just like that. but then there's an entire new year to look forward to as well! cheers to all of us for this new year! XD

    i've started a 366..it's the uploading that's hard to keep up with ~
    i think i've been on schedule ~ i'll find out once i find get a chance to backtrack ..
