    Why I Don't Ride Trails-1

On Tuesday I went snowmobiling, did a little ice fishing, sightseeing, and, of course, took some photographs (444 to be exact). I don't usually upload more than one image per day but, after doing a little ice fishing in this area, I decided to get a little altitude (climb a pretty high hill) to check out the view and as a result I've decided to take you along with these seven images. Hold on tight. :-)
By the way, I took most of the shots on the way down...had to concentrate a little on the way up. Also, if you're wondering why I called these seven images "Why I Don't Ride Trails", I think it will be self-explanatory when you peruse them. I'm not anti-social...it's two things, really. It's the principle of the thing( needs a more complete explanation, I know) and if I want to drive fast and miss all the beauty this island has to offer, I'll stick to highway driving. Here, on this day, in this place, there was absolutely no one to be seen and the only tracks were mine (and those of a few Ptarmigan, Rabbit, Fox, and perhaps Coyote)

I totally understand the "principal of the thing", Z. I prefer to be off the beaten path myself. I always wonder what wonderful sight, adventure, or anything, will be around the next corner.

This is awesomely beautiful. I will come back tomorrow to view all of them and I'm looking forward to it.
I'm just to dead tired tonight. : (
