After so many of you chimed in and helped, and after several different tries--I think I like this best. Thanks to you all! Really-I would have gone with the strong texture and colors if you hadn't all weighed in, and although i like the eye, it does seem better if the customer he or she is looking in. Thanks, to froggy for the possible use of her eye set--how totally cool is that? And bootsartemis for the idea of making the keyhole have some surrounding sky, and thanks to ookgavemesight for the links to keyholes on google--I used them. And clotho, and calsidyrose for the very helpful links, and thanks to Nancy for sticking around and staring at all the different versions without losing her mind! And THANKS TO ALL OF YOU who weighed in--you have no idea how much help and support you all give--I am so lucky to be here on flikcr and know you.

I threw this together, but sort of like it--not fancy, but clear. I'm not good with layers, so, I have limited skills. So, pals, what do you think?

Yes, I know, I had another one in mind--Cornacopia of Curiosities--but I can't even spell corn-a-copia, and I just didn't like the Thanksgiving feel--so, I reverted to a title I used for a newsletter when I was book club manager at a mystery bookstore--but this works for etsy too--because what's more tantilizing than not knowing what's inside a door, and peeking through at the treasures?? So, my banner has to be make--and I'll add something like--come and take a peek at the wonders within----along those lines--so, what do you all think?
