This is probably my last photo here. I mean, in this flickr. I made a new one because after three years I finally got tired of this. I’m always changing and now I’m moving my flickr to another account. It’s www.flickr.com/photos/noraelebowski/. Some months ago I wondered what I really want to do with my photography, it was a difficult question because I’m the most insecure person and I have never anything in clear. But this time I can say I really want to improve and my decision was that simple. This first flickr it’s like my first stage in the photography world, now I’ve some aims that I want to reach, so I have to leave this first stage and go on for the second. I thank everybody for the sweet words you’re always writing to me, for all your comments, favourites, expos, for making that 49 of my photos appear in Explore and for all your kindness and friendship. Hope you all will come with me to this new age and help me as you have done all this years.

P.d.: I haven’t uploaded photos in my new account yet, that’s why is still empty. I write this to notify that I’ll upload the new ones there very soon.

Esta es probablemente mi última foto aquí. Quiero decir, en este flickr. He creado uno nuevo porque después de tres años finalmente me he cansado de este. Siempre estoy cambiando y esta vez cambio de flickr a otra cuenta: www.flickr.com/photos/noraelebowski/. Hace algunos meses me pregunté qué es lo que realmente quiero hacer con mi fotografía, era una pregunta difícil porque soy muy insegura y nunca tengo nada claro, pero esta vez puedo afirmar que realmente quiero mejorar y mi decisión fue simple. Este primer flickr es como mi primera etapa en el mundo de la fotografía, ahora tengo algunos objetivos que quiero alcanzar así que tengo que abandonar esta primera etapa y pasar a la segunda. Agradezco mucho a todo el mundo todos los halagos que me habéis escrito, vuestros comentarios, favoritos, expos, por hacer que 49 de mis fotografías aparecieran en Explore y por vuestra amabilidad y amistad. Espero que todos me acompañéis en esta nueva etapa y sigáis ayudándome como habéis hecho durante todos estos años.

Noche cerrada, cegada por las luces de una ciudad que se negaba a dormir. Yo también me negué entonces. Cambié el horario de mi reloj hasta situarlo por debajo del ecuador, quizá engañase el tiempo haciéndole creer que había huido hasta Las Bahamas. Quizá.
Anduve atropellando hojas secas de otoño, cruzando sonrisas y roces de mano. Anduve hasta caer rendido frente al único bar, de entre cientos, en el que estabas tú.
Fue un cruce de miradas, de una punta a otra, con tus labios oscuros dejando escapar el humor de un cigarrillo. Ese fue tu primer y último golpe de la noche.
Mi copa tembló hasta hacerse añicos y mi pecho sufrió el dolor agudo del infarto. Cómo y por qué no llegué a saberlo.
La taquicardia no consiguió matarme, después de todo. Y eso que el primer impacto dejó a mi corazón exhausto, a punto de explotar con un sólo latido de más. Pero ese latido no llegó, de modo que todo estuvo en calma algunos segundos después. Probablemente suene estúpido pero lo cierto es que la muerte consiguió salvarme. Ese instante en que el mundo dejó de girar para mí, ese pálpito que no sucedió. Sólo me queda darte las gracias por haber concurrido el único bar, de entre cientos, en el que yo entré aquella noche vestida de día.

La taquicardia no consiguió matarme, me mató tu mirada.

There was always a light leading my way. I found it by chance, when I was a child, floating in my garden. The light whispered my name and then, she got inside me, making a nest to live in my ribs. I never thought over what it really happened that day outdoor, but I felt comfortable and warm so I let her go.
Time went by and I trusted the light as a part of myself, a half part of my soul. She began to push my legs onto the right way everytime. And one of those times, she took me to this forest, where I took a nap in the charming shadow of mushrooms.
